Partnering with Wilmeng Construction, we revitalized the Alumni Lawn, a central gathering space at ASU. We carefully removed and salvaged 28,000 square feet of concrete pavers, replacing them with 26,000 square feet of Belgard pavers in two sizes: 4×8 and 6×12. The 4×8 format tied into existing campus walkways, while the 6×12 pavers defined bold main pathways. Smaller branching paths used 4×8 pavers to lead visitors to art exhibits and points of interest. Colors, textures, and shapes were chosen to complement surrounding architecture, creating a modernized lawn that feels as if it has always been part of the campus.
