Stone Mountain Triangle Park Project

The mechanically installed permeable pavers at Stone Mountain’s Triangle Park parking lot in Georgia span an impressive 180,000 square feet, showcasing both innovation and sustainability in large-scale paving projects. Installed by our team specializing in permeable surfaces, the project utilized an Optimas H88 paver laying machine to ensure precision and efficiency throughout the entire process. The permeable pavers chosen for this site were designed to manage stormwater effectively, allowing rainwater to seep through the joints to the underlying layers, eliminating runoff and promoting natural groundwater recharge. These pavers not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the parking lot but also address critical environmental concerns by mitigating flood risks during extreme weather events. One of the standout features of this installation was its capability to handle a 100-year rain event that occurred only days after its completion. The partnership with the Pond Company was crucial in developing a sustainable water management system by integrating natural retention and filtration solutions with the permeable pavement. This combination of eco-friendly design and cutting-edge mechanical installation techniques positions the Stone Mountain Triangle Park parking lot as a model of green infrastructure. The use of Optimas H88 machinery ensured consistent quality and rapid progress, reflecting EPSE’s commitment to excellence and environmental stewardship.
