Concrete is often chosen for its low upfront cost, but that price comes with trade-offs. Extreme heat and freeze–thaw cycles cause it to crack, and repairs are costly and rarely seamless. Stamped concrete can add patterns, but it doesn’t solve the maintenance issues, color mismatches and patchwork repairs remain obvious.
Pavers, on the other hand, set immediately, offer endless design styles, and are easy to repair by simply replacing individual pieces. While the initial investment may be higher, their durability, flexibility, and long-term savings make them the superior choice for most projects.
